Apple Picking in Vermont

We had an amazing time closing the cottage this past October. Miss G seemed to love the apples- gooey, sticky, cold, slimey wetness and all (oh wait, that's right, that was the best part). We think she ate three macs while we were there and enjoyed running around in the tall wispy grass while Penelope dutifully trotted on behind to be sure she didn't slide on too many fallen soldiers. We may try to make this a tradition when we close the cottage. It was a wonderful way to finish off the summer and early fall months. Crisp, brisk air... the sweet, fresh smell of crunchy red fall leaves... Time with Auntie Kimmy. Geographical love. That is Vermont for me.
